I'm way over due to write a review for Joan! Her cheesecakes are amazing; the best I've ever had and there is no hyperbole in that statement. I'm partial to her plain with raspberry sauce. Heaven! And she is wonderful as well. I don't remember when I got the first, but I've bought many over many months (pre-pandemic? or at least since 2020) and it's become my go-to special dessert. Everyone I've shared with loves them; even my husband who didn't particularly like cheesecake. Before Joan's!! Picking up one today for my sister's visit from out of town. :-)
I was really mad at Joan for introducing me to her cheesecakes… why because I wanted to eat the whole thing all by myself! Cheesecake Factory has nothing on Joan’s Bakes and Cakes. I got the Key Lime for my brother he loved it. Then I asked her for a salted caramel which she created for me! So delicious of course I just ordered more. GET YOUR TURKEY DAY CHEESECAKE from Joan’s so fresh smooth creamy and delicious. She needs to start shipping these I have lots of friends all over the country!!
I found Joan's online because I needed a German Chocolate cake for Thanksgiving and omg this is the best cake I've ever had. First off her customer service is excellent, you can pay by credit card, cash, etc., and most importantly the taste is amazing. The cake is layered and has frosting in between and it's super moist. The box was neat and elegant and she provided her card and a reward system for ordering multiple times. I will definitely be a returning customer. Thanks!!
Absolutely amazing cakes and Joan is such a helpful, personable professional! My husband and I ordered a custom baby-girl gender reveal strawberry cake and it’s the most delicious cake we’ve had by far! Not to mention the fast preparation, giving us great tips and recommendations on the recipe over text messages. Recommend to everyone and wishing Joan best of luck and creativity with the business!
I'm so happy that I found Joan's cakes. Her cheesecakes are so creamy and decadent, yet not overly sweet. I've never tasted anything like her cheesecakes before. I've purchased 3 cakes within a month and plan to definitely purchase more cakes in the future. I've tried the lime, strawberry and both were so good. She also made me an oreo ice cream cake that my son said was his favorite of all. Very easy purchase, payment and pickup process. I highly recommend her cheesecakes!
*****HEAVENLY***** I found Joan's Bakes and Cakes doing a search on line for cheesecakes. I read some of the reviews and had to find out for myself. I called her last minute for a Raspberry cheese cake. I have to say - I am very glad I reached out. It was absolutely delicious. It was a big hit at our gathering. Super creamy and the sauce (left on the side) was the perfect touch. I can't wait to have another party just so I can order another one!!! Dori M.
I got 3 cheesecakes (pralines pecan, carrot and strawberry) for Mother’s Day this year. I am pregnant and could not decide which I wanted and all 3 were AMAZING! My whole family was super impressed, and I had so much cheesecake they took some to their neighbors in Oklahoma. I was told when I come to visit, I now have to bring some cheesecake for everyone because it is the best they have ever had. My favorite was probably the strawberry because the strawberry sauce is homemade. I have found the person I will order cheesecake from for any event from now until forever. Had the Oreo ice cream cake for my husband's birthday! It was a hit!! Delicious and beautiful and a great value for your money! Will be a repeat customer!!
I found out about Joan's Bakes and Cakes from the Nextdoor app. I ordered her Keylime cheesecake and it was awesome. All my family members loved it. It was so fresh, just the right amount of tartness and sweetness. The crust was just right. Beautifully garnished with lime slices and fresh whip cream. 😋 A day later and I am still remembering it.
Joan’s Bakes and Cakes was exceptionally delicious, I called her the day before to ask her if she can make me a strawberry cheesecake for my husband’s birthday( cheesecake is his favorite) she kindly responded that she could and I ended up ordering two strawberry cheesecakes and and my husband and our family absolutely loved her cheesecakes she makes fresh strawberry sauce it’s not the strawberry sauce/ filling that they use in most bakery’s or stores she makes her so delicious you can eat it by itself! Joan is very professional, amazing at her work and kind. I’ll be a returning customer to her! Thank you Joan for the sweet delicious pie it was a delightful evening for my family!
